Hey 🙂
The new year is just around the corner.
It’s the perfect time to hit the reset button.
To let go of old habits that aren’t helping you and start building new ones that bring you closer to your goals.
We’re all creatures of habit.
Our habits shape our lives—good or bad.
For example:
- If you have a habit of snacking late at night, it might lead to weight gain and poor sleep.
- If you often skip exercise, your body can feel stiff and low on energy.
- Or maybe you’re in the habit of sitting too much, and now you feel your posture is getting worse.
On the flip side, good habits can do wonders for your health and happiness:
- Stretching every morning helps you move more easily throughout the day.
- Drinking water instead of sugary drinks keeps you energized and focused.
- Exercising regularly boosts your strength and confidence.
See how the little things we do every day can either pull us down or lift us up?

Let’s Build New Habits This Year
This year, I want to invite you to create just four new habits.
One habit per quarter.
Simple and totally doable, right?
But here’s the big question:
how do you actually build a new habit?
What I Learned About Habits
A few years ago, I read a book called Atomic Habits by James Clear. (You’ve probably heard of it—it’s super popular.)
James is an expert on habits, and he explains them in a way that’s simple and powerful.
His ideas helped me create the habits I have today: practicing yoga, meditating daily, eating healthy, and sleeping better.
And now, I want to share his 4-step method with you, so you can start building habits that stick.
How to Build a New Habit
Let’s use getting in shape as an example:
1. Make It Obvious
Set a clear plan.
Decide when and where you’ll exercise and even set a reminder on your phone.
- Example: “I’ll work out at 7 AM in my living room.”
You can also try habit stacking.
Pair your workout with something you already do.
- Example: “After I brew my morning coffee, I’ll roll out my yoga mat.”
2. Make It Attractive
Make your habit fun or enjoyable.
- Example: Only listen to your favorite podcast or watch a episode of your favorite TV show while you work out.
3. Make It Easy
Start small—really small.
The key is to make it so simple, you can’t fail.
- Example: Commit to just 2 minutes of stretching or a short yoga flow. Once it becomes a habit, you can do more.
4. Make It Satisfying
Track your progress so you can celebrate your wins.
- Example: Mark an “X” on your calendar every time you exercise.
Another way to make it satisfying is to reward yourself.
- Example: After a week of consistency, treat yourself to a relaxing bath or a soothing massage.
Why This Works
The more of these steps you use, the easier it is to stick to your habit.
Each step helps tackle a different part of the habit-building process.
Together, they make it almost foolproof.
So, are you ready to build habits that move you closer to your goals?
Let’s make this year the one where you finally get fit, feel flexible, and live your best life! 💛
Have a wonderful day ✨
Idan
