5 Habits to Start Your Day with Energy and Positivity!

Immediately I got bombard by external demands and information.

Not the ideal way to start a day 👎

Over the years I adopted better habits.

Habits that instead of making me stressed, uplift my mood and fill me up with energy for the day.

In this newsletter, I'm going to share with you five (actually 6) powerful habits that are designed to start your day with an overflow of energy and positivity.

Well, how you start your day often sets the tone for the hours that follow.

By adopting these habits, you can expect to experience increased focus, greater calm, and a more joyful outlook on life.

It's about giving yourself the best possible start, ensuring you're in a prime state to tackle your day.

Unfortunately, many of us fall into the trap of starting our days on autopilot...

Reaching for our phones the moment we wake up 🤳

This lead to a reactive rather than a proactive mindset.

It's the Quality of Your Morning that Shapes Your Day.

By embracing these habits, you can craft a morning routine that paves the way for success, well-being, and happiness.

Before reading I must mention that you don’t need to apply everything in this list.

Take what you feel will work for you, start with 1-2 at a time and add or subtract as you see fit.

🤳 Habit 1: Don't Pick Up Your Phone

Resist the urge to start your day by immersing yourself in the digital world.

The first few moments after you wake up are precious!

They offer a rare opportunity for you to connect with yourself without distractions.

Why it’s crucial:
This habit helps to protect your mental space, allowing you to set your own intentions for the day instead of being bombarded by external demands and information.

How to implement:
Leave your phone on airplane mode until you've completed your morning routine.

If you need an alarm, consider using a traditional alarm clock or setting your phone far from your bed so you're not tempted to check it immediately.

💦 Crucial Habit: Drink 2 glasses of water

Before diving into your morning routine, there's one crucial habit I urge you not to skip: drinking 2 glasses of water.

Overnight, your body goes through a natural period of dehydration. 

Drinking water first thing in the morning not only rehydrates your body but also kickstarts your metabolism, flushes out toxins, and gives your brain fuel to start the day on a high note.

Don’t skip it!

🤸‍♂️ Habit 2: Move Your Body with Yoga

Incorporating yoga into your morning routine can significantly enhance your physical and mental vitality.

Why it’s essential:
Yoga stretches awaken your body, improve flexibility, and reduce stress, helping you feel centered and energized.

How to do it:
Start with just 10 minutes of simple stretches or a few invigorating sun salutations.

Why it’s beneficial:
It’s an easy way to increase your intake of vegetables and fruits, supporting your overall health and vitality.

How to make it a habit:
Simple blend together leafy greens with a piece of fruit for sweetness, and water.

I love mixing baby spinach leaves with cucumber and apple.

Another simple option is to buy a ready one from the supermarket.

But make sure to read the label to make sure it’s a green juice and not fruit juice with a little bit of greens.

By integrating these habits into your morning routine, you're not just setting the stage for a great day, you're cultivating a foundation for a healthier, happier life.

The beauty of these practices is that they're accessible to everyone and can be adapted to fit any lifestyle.
