Targeted Fat Loss is a Myth

It's a common belief that you can reduce fat in specific areas of the body by targeting those areas with exercises.

However, the body loses fat in a pattern determined largely by genetics and overall body fat percentage, not by where muscles are being exercised.

For example, doing lots of crunches will not specifically burn belly fat.

Instead, a combination of regular activity you enjoy, alongside a healthy diet, is the best approach to reduce overall body fat, which over time will include fat loss in specific areas you're concerned about.

Cobra Pose is a real game-changer, especially if you're someone who sits a lot during the day.

It's fantastic for loosening up those stiff back muscles, you know, the tightness you feel after hours at your desk.

Plus, it really helps in strengthening your spine and opening up your chest, which is great for improving your posture.

This can make a big difference if you're used to slouching over your computer.

On top of that, when you're in Cobra Pose, there's a gentle pressure on your abdomen that actually helps get your digestive organs working more smoothly.

And if you’ve got some mild back pain, this pose can be quite therapeutic, helping to ease some of that discomfort.

Weekly Workout

Ready for a quick boost? This full-body workout is designed just for you.

It's all about feeling good and getting stronger 💪 no matter how busy your day looks.

You’re going to feel amazing after this!

Time: 10 minutes

Equipment: None

Good for: Strengthening your legs, arms, core and back muscles.

Instructions: Perform the exercises one after the other with minimal rest between exercises.  Rest for 60 seconds between sets. Repeat for 2 rounds.

  • Jump squats: Start in a standard squat position with feet shoulder-width apart. Lower your body into a deep squat, then explode upwards into a jump and repeat.
    Too challenging? do regular squats instead 😉
  • Curtsy lunges: Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Step your right leg diagonally behind you, crossing it behind your left leg, as you lower your hips until your left thigh is almost parallel to the floor. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
  • Tricep dips: Place your hands on the edge of chair seat, fingers pointing towards your body. Slowly lower your body by bending your elbows until they form a 90-degree angle. Push back up to the starting position, fully extending your arms.
    Pro Tip: place the chair against a wall to prevent it from sliding backwards.
  • Skydiver: Lie face down on the floor with your arms bent in 90 degrees, palms facing down. Lift your arms and and chest off the floor. Hold the "up" position for a few moments, then gently lower back down to the starting position.
  • Forearm plank: Begin lying face down with your forearms on the floor and elbows directly below your shoulders. Rise up onto your toes and elbows, keeping your body in a straight line from your head to your heels. Tighten your core, squeeze your glutes, and hold.
    Too challenging? lower your knees to the floor

 Creamy Lime Popsicles 🥥🍋🥑


  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup spinach fresh
  • 14 oz (400ml) coconut milk
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
