Exercises for wrist pain

As a full-time yogi I’ve learned a lot about what to do and what not to do if you want to have fun and maximize your yoga practice. 

Here’s my quick (but important) list:

#1 Don’t do yoga on a full stomach (it’s gonna make you feel sick!)
#2 Do help yourself relax with a big smile (try it… it really works!)
#3 Don’t ignore your wrists (this is a big no-no!)

I’ve shared these tips with my students and many of them are surprised when they hear tip #3.

As you know a lot of yoga moves involve holding up your body weight with your hands but when your wrists are weak… oof… it’s a recipe for disaster 🙁

So how about we give our wrists some much-needed love so we can do any yoga move 🙂
